Vote
On Tuesday there will be a special election in Massachusetts to fill the senate seat vacated by the death of Ted Kennedy. I do hope all elligible MA members here will get out and vote. If you don't, you will have no complaint if it turns out badly.

RE: Vote
It turned out bad. I don't live in MASS. But it won't sneak up on us here. Too complacent and the wrong team won.
Now what happens? The opposition will say it is God's will and there will be no refrom and no help at all for the LGBT community. We're fried and fricked. Of all states it couldn't happen in MASSACHUSETS. But it did. Remember Frank Zappa and the song IT CAN"T HAPPEN HERE! Well it did. |

I'm hoping that this will be a wake up call. These politicians have got to learn to start working together for the will of the people, not for their own personal agenda's. The unthinkable happened here in MA. If it can happen here, it very well could happen in the rest of the country. I suspect that there are a lot of very nervous politicians at this point in time.
